Choke manifold 5k

The purpose of the choke manifold is to control the well during flowing periods. A standard choke manifold is fitted with a 2” (orifice) fixed choke and a 2” (orifice) calibrated adjustable choke. The fixed choke allows the well to be produced at constant rates, which is essential for accurate Production Test Analysis. Fixed choke sizes are selected to maintain critical flow conditions across the choke which means that any changes in the system conditions downstream of the manifold, e.g. changing booms, will not influence the flow characteristics of the well. A calibrated adjustable choke is provided for use when cleaning up the well.
